Pineapple Weed and Free Health Care?

Pineapple Weed and Free Health Care?-http://thymetoembraceherbs.com

Pineapple Weed is one of my favorites.  Maybe because it grows everywhere and I can recognize it.  When I was about eleven years old, I learned ten native wildflowers, and this was one of them. Wild mustard was another that made the list.  Now that I blog about herbs, it is exciting to find which of those wildflowers are actually herbs as well.

This amazing herb claims the German Chamomile as its sister.  As previously mentioned, it grows everywhere in the U. S. except Texas, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.  Apparently it doesn’t like the heat too well.  But in areas where it is not quite so hot, just check the cracks in your driveway! Yes, it even grows there!

Health Benefits of Pineapple Weed

Cautions…

Go easy with the use of this herb during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

My Thoughts…

With the rising costs of health care and insurance premiums that may or may not fit your budget, this little plant is just quietly growing everywhere (almost), just waiting for discovery.  And growing in the wild like that, nobody can put a price tag on it. Insurance is not going to take weeks or months to decide whether they are going to cover it.

Let’s take a closer look at its use for pink eye.  This is a common ailment that you often end up in the doctor’s office for.  It’s flu season, so you may catch that flu sitting in the waiting room.  The doctor will probably prescribe antibiotics.  These antibiotics always have side effects.  So why not get some pineapple weed, and just bypass all of that?

I struggled with morning sickness most of the time during my pregnancies.  I sure wish I would have known of the abilities of this amazing little herb during those nausea-filled months.  Maybe I wouldn’t have been so miserable.  I worked night shift during my first pregnancy, and I kid you not, after report I would drink hot chocolate and then buttermilk just to get me going.
