It’s summer, and school is out. But now there is baseball practice and games to get to. There’s canning to be done. Yes, I know, its strange, but I have 50 lbs of peaches and green beans waiting to be canned. There’s Vacation Bible School to attend, or 3 or four. Okay, so maybe that’s an overdose. And somewhere in there, the kids still want meals and clean laundry. Life can get a bit stressful! One way to combat it is to eat more ice cream! Vanilla! Journey with me as we discover how vanilla can help with stress!
Stress can turn into many other problems, if aggravated. It can result in headaches, muscle tension, and chest pain. Fatigue, sex drive changes, and tummy troubles can occur. And as a result of all that, one can have difficulty sleeping. This can lead to loss of productivity on the job. And the list goes on and on.
This incredible herb was always just an extract in my cupboard. I liked to flavor baked goods with it, and was always a bit bummed when I was out. Last year at Christmas, I made some sugar and salt with the beans to give as gifts, and discovered the beans! Let me tell you, those are amazing!

My Final Thoughts…
In the title I alluded to a great battle that this herb is fighting. That I believe is cancer. Much like yellow dock. It’s the one everyone is afraid of, and is becoming more and more common. And there is such a common answer! I mean, who hasn’t heard of vanilla?
I just love ice cream, and have always loved the vanilla flavor. I am not going to get into the debate here of what type of ice cream you should eat, whether it be vegan or dairy, you will have to decided based on what your waistline can handle. Whatever the case, eat more ice cream!
Need some vanilla beans? Get them shipped right to your door!
What healing benefits do you use vanilla for? Let me know in the comments.
